Home4Her ("we") operates the home-exchange platform for women available at home4her.com and through the Home4Her apps for iOS and Android. This policy explains which personal data we collect, how we use it and what your rights are, in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).
1. Data we collect
Registration data: name, e-mail, password and, optionally, phone number. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and e-mail from those services.
Profile and verification: profile photos and, for the community identity verification, an identification document and proof of address submitted by you. These documents are used exclusively for verification and are never displayed publicly.
Home listings: photos, description, address and approximate location of the home you list.
Platform usage: messages exchanged with other members inside the platform, exchange requests and history, reviews, and your HerMiles balance and activity.
Technical data: session cookies (required for login), device identifiers for push notifications and technical access logs.
Payments: processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card details on our servers.
2. How we use your data
- Operate the platform: home listings, search, messaging, exchanges and reviews;
- Verify profiles, keeping the community safe and exclusive to women;
- Send communications about your account and exchanges by e-mail, push notifications and WhatsApp (according to your preferences, adjustable in settings);
- Process memberships and payments;
- Prevent fraud and keep the community secure;
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with providers required to operate the platform: payment processing, notification delivery (Google Firebase), WhatsApp messaging and hosting infrastructure. Other community members can only see your public profile and your listing. Your documents, e-mail and phone number are never visible.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your login session and preferences. The platform does not work properly without them.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete account, on the website or in the app, or by contacting us. After deletion, your personal data is removed, except for records the law requires us to keep.
6. Your rights (LGPD)
You may request at any time: confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymization, portability, information about sharing, withdrawal of consent and deletion. To exercise your rights, use the contact channel below.
7. Security
We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
8. Minimum age
Home4Her is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Relevant changes will be announced through the platform. The current version will always be available on this page.
